Job Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
Monitoring inventory levels to ensure that there is an adequate supply of products.
Assisting in inventory audits and reconciliations.
Coordinating with warehouses to manage stock levels and reordering as necessary.
- Order Processing:
Handling purchase orders and sales orders.
Ensuring timely processing and fulfillment of customer orders.
Coordinating with suppliers and logistics providers to track and expedite orders.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
Collecting and analyzing data related to supply chain performance.
Preparing reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as order accuracy, delivery times, and inventory turnover.
Identifying trends and suggesting improvements based on data analysis.
- Supplier Coordination:
Communicating with suppliers to confirm orders, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
Assisting in evaluating supplier performance and maintaining supplier relationships.
Resolving any issues or discrepancies with suppliers.
- Logistics Support:
Coordinating shipping and receiving activities.
Managing transportation logistics to ensure timely delivery.
- Process Improvement:
Identifying areas for improvement within the supply chain process.
Participating in initiatives to streamline operations and reduce costs.
Supporting the implementation of new supply chain technologies and systems.
- Compliance and Documentation:
Ensuring all supply chain activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documentation for audits and reviews.
- Collaboration:
Working closely with other departments such as procurement, production, sales, and finance to align supply chain activities with organizational goals. Supporting senior supply chain staff and managers with various projects and tasks.
